Year 2 Roald Dahl Day 2020 11th Sep 2020

Year 2 celebrated Roald Dahl Day by reading The Enormous Crocodile. We then went outside and we re-told the story through dance. We had fun pretending to be the Enormous Crocodile, but we enjoyed being Muggle-Wump the Monkey best of all!

As part of their Literacy, Year 5 and 6 have been studying the works of William Shakespeare and one of his most popular plays, Hamlet. Set in Denmark, the play depicts Prince Hamlet and his revenge against his uncle, Claudius, who murdered Hamlet's father in order to seize his throne and marry Hamlet's mother.

Year 4 took part in a practical workshop based on the fantastic play "Emily Rising" which they had attended at the Harrow Arts Centre. The play was about a young girl of 10 who woke up one morning floating on air and as the day went on, she got higher and higher - much to the disbelief of everyone.
