What is the TfL’s Travel for Life award?

STARS = Sustainable Travel: Active, Responsible, Safe.

We are proud to follow Travel for Life, TfL's accreditation scheme for London schools and nurseries. This scheme has helped us to shape our schools travel plan and to inspire our children to travel to school sustainably, actively, responsibly and safely by championing walking, scooting and cycling. The scheme also supports pupils' wellbeing, helps to reduce congestion at the school gates and to improve road safety and air quality. In September 2024 we achieved our Bronze level accreditation for Travel for Life which we will hold for three years.

To achieve this accreditation we had to inspire our families to transform their travel habits and to engage with the wider community to promote our best practises. We also had to show a measurable reduction in the number of car journeys our families make to school each day.
