Green Schools Project 2025

As part of our ongoing commitment to sustainability and caring for our planet, Year 4 are taking part in a comprehensive climate education programme - Green Schools Project. The children will raise their awareness of climate change. They will learn about and calculate their own school's carbon footprint and explore ways which will enable them to take action on climate change by designing and leading projects to reduce it in our school community.

On Tuesday 2nd December, a lovely representative from the Project delivered an insightful assembly which was interactive and engaging, with opportunities for pupils to reflect on their own habits and consider new eco-friendly ideas for our school community. The children left feeling motivated and eager to take part in future sustainability initiatives.

We are excited to continue working with the Green Schools Project over the coming months as we further develop our journey toward a greener, more environmentally responsible school.
